At PESA, we believe that every school should have access to high-quality wellbeing education, regardless of financial constraints. That’s why we’re offering scholarship opportunities to support disadvantaged schools in accessing our professional learning, resources, and networks.
Why Wellbeing Education Matters
We understand that a whole-school approach to wellbeing has the greatest potential to create meaningful and lasting change. This approach integrates wellbeing into systems, pedagogy, and welfare structures, fostering a cohesive and supportive environment for all.
All Australian schools strive to support and nurture the wellbeing of students and staff. However, many lack the knowledge, resources, and capacity to implement impactful, evidence-based wellbeing practices. PESA bridges this gap by equipping schools, educators, and leaders with professional development, resources, and advocacy to prioritise and embed evidence-informed approaches to wellbeing.
PESA has an ambition for 2025 to raise funds to extend support through membership and professional development to an additional 10 schools identified as having a ICSEA value lower than 1000. This initiative reflects our commitment to making wellbeing education accessible to all schools, regardless of their circumstances. After all, wellbeing isn’t a privilege reserved for a select few; it’s a fundamental need for everyone.
